To provide opportunities for students to continue developing themselves personally and professionally during a time when in-person experiences are hard to come by, the Office of Career Management has compiled a list of online resources for students to explore on their own! The list connects students with materials to build their knowledge in various skill sets with accredited online entities, including Tableau, Udemy, Adobe Creative Cloud, and others. It is the Office of Career Management’s hope that amidst these uncertain times, this resource list can be a useful tool for Fisher students.

The Office of Career Management offers a comprehensive approach to providing highly personalized, career-focused programming and career consultation specifically designed for business graduate students.

  • Open/Close Lis E. - Second Year MHRM

At Fisher College of Business, career management is not just a support unit that is optional, it is an integrated part of the program helping you maximize your educational experience building skills, confidence, and action steps toward the job search. I knew my career consultant as well as any one of my professors, providing me individualized assistance and up-to-date opportunities that fit my career plan.

  • Open/Close Stephen H. - Second Year MBA

As a transitioning Army Officer, I was unfamiliar with the requirements and expectations that companies desire from job applicants. The Career Management Team at the Ohio State Fisher College of Business, along with their Career Core Program, raised my awareness of not only resume writing and interviewing skills but also broadened my perspective of the entire process surrounding a successful career search.

  • Open/Close Mona B. - First Year MBA

The Career Core Program was a great start to my journey at Fisher! As a working professional who was transitioning back to school after 4 years, the Career Leader Report and Career Marketing Plan were of utmost value to me as it helped me to clearly identify my career interests and skills as well as define my career goals and attainment strategies, prior to joining the MBA program. The use of innovative tools such as Vmock along with the personalized assistance on the resume, cover letter and interview preparation certainly prepared me very early for my internship search!
