Ph.D. in Technical Science

  • 1981 - present has been teaching at Tomsk Polytechnic University, Chair of the Optimization Control Systems, Department of Automatization and Computer Systems at Tomsk Polytechnic University.

    Started as an Assistant Instructor, then Senior Instructor and now as an Associate Professor.

    1982 - defended Ph.D. dissertation on the following theme: "Solving Routing Problems on Graphs"

     1979 - worked on Ph.D. degree at Tomsk Polytechnic University Postgraduate School.

    1976 - 1979 - worked in the Department of Territorial Automatic Control Systems at Tomsk Polytechnic University.

     1976 - graduated from Tomsk Polytechnic University (Institute), Department of Management and Industry Structuring,

    majoring in "Applied Mathematics".

     Teaching Experience.

    Theoretical and Practical Courses in:

    - Programming: Fortran, Pascal, C++.

    - Computer Graphics.

    - Multimedia Systems.

     International Experience.

    September1998 - June 1999

    • Participated as a visiting scholar in Russian-American partnership program on distance learning education between Ohio State University and Tomsk Universities.

    Took courses in Operation Management.

    Technical Skills.

    • Programming: Pascal, Fortran, C++.
    • Participation in the development of automatic control systems for oil pump line in Srezhevoi.
    • Program design of information visualizing of oil wells: "Computer-based Tomograph for Soil Layers"
    • Participation in the development of computer-based presentations for Cybernetic Center of Tomsk Polytechnic University and Tomskpromstroibank Site.
    • Design of computer-based presentation for Tomsk Region, displayed at the exhibition in Hanover.
    • Development of several electronic textbooks (Asymetrix Toolbook)
    • Design of the information program for some insurance companies (ordered by LIM company from Germany)
    • Regular participation in the activities of Distance Learning Education Center at Tomsk Polytechnic University: provided consultations on program maintaince.
    • Software and hardware support for computers and networks at the Department of Optimization of Control Systems (Tomsk Polytechnic University).
