Operation Feed 2012
Fisher Staff Advisory Committee is proud to announce the 2012 Operation Feed Campaign, a community-wide food and funds drive coordinated by the Mid-Ohio Food Bank.
Fisher’s 2012 Operation Feed Campaign will be held May 1st to May 18th. Along with university initiatives, Fisher will be joining forces with faculty, staff and students to raise critically needed donations. All donations will go directly to Operation Feed, Mid-Ohio Food Bank.
SAC has organized a few great ways YOU can contribute!
Bring in Canned Food Items
- Any time between May 1st and May 18th
- 1 canned food item can equals one complete meal
- Operation Feed stocks the shelves of hundreds of food pantries, soup kitchens and emergency shelters in central and eastern Ohio
- You can find boxes at the following locations around Fisher:
- Graduate Programs Office
- Undergraduate Programs Office
- Office of Career Management
- Information Technology Services
- International Programs Office
- Each of the faculty/academic departments in Fisher Hall
- Most needed foods items:
- Peanut Butter
- Soup (with vegetables)
- Canned Fruit (in juice or light syrup)
- Chili (with beans)
- Tuna
- Canned Meat
- Canned Vegetables
Jeans Day
- Donate $5 to Operation Feed (via any SAC member) and wear jeans to work with supervisor’s permission
- “Jeans Day” stickers are redeemable anytime before May 18th
Ice Cream Social
- For a $3 donation you can create your own ice cream sundae
- Join us in the Fisher courtyard on May 16th
- $3 or 3 food items allows you to create your own ice cream sundae
