Greetings from SAC
Greetings from the Fisher College of Business Staff Advisory Committee,
At this time, your head is no doubt swimming with a large amount of new information. We hope that you’re as pleased to become part of the Fisher College staff as we are to welcome you among us.
Staff have always played a prominent role in the College’s growth and progress, and the Fisher College of Business Staff Advisory Committee tries hard to maintain that momentum. Eight staff members, from a variety of departments, serve on the committee each year. One member of the SAC is elected to serve on the College’s Executive committee, chaired by Dean Alutto.
The SAC serves to reflect and promote the interests of Fisher College classified and unclassified staff members by contributing to the enrichment of the college. It regularly schedules professional development, discussion, and social events surrounding different topics of interest to staff and the college as a whole. A major goal of the SAC is to help ensure and promote a climate of mutual respect in our workplace.
Again, welcome to the Fisher College. Please know you’re welcome and encouraged to attend as many College and SAC-sponsored events as time allows; and to contact any current SAC member with questions or suggestions. Your addition to our staff makes us stronger. Thanks!
