A Message from Peter Ward

Operational excellence -- the ability to manage value creation processes without waste and better than the competition year after year -- is the common theme of the best performing organizations in the world.

To achieve operational excellence, managers need to think differently, using the tools of value stream management, employee engagement, waste reduction, capability building, and innovation. Fisher MBOE graduates will develop the leadership skills to succeed in organizations that strive for operational excellence. The MBOE program is for people identified by their executive leaders as having high potential for success in managing operations toward excellence. Candidates will have:
  • Earned at least a bachelors degree from an accredited university. (All disciplines are welcome -- great leaders come from all types of experience)
  • A history of work experience in which managing processes are part of the job
  • Been recommended by an executive sponsor
  • A passion for relentless improvement
