Regional Business Programs
Is It For Me
Your Choice
The General Business Major and Minor are delivered using web and video conferencing technology to OSU regional campuses from the Columbus campus. Students in the programs report that they like not having to commute all the way to Columbus to earn a BSBA or a business minor. However, the transition from F2F (face-to-face) classroom learning to distance-delivered "virtual world" learning can be difficult for some students. You are expected to become proficient at the use of Carmen email and discussion postings, classroom video conferencing, audio conferencing and other online interaction with program faculty and fellow students. If you have a computer with a slow modem connection at home, please consider purchase of high speed Internet (RoadRunner, DSL) for the duration of your degree or business minor program. Otherwise, you will need to to view streaming lecture and other course materials at your regional campus computer lab. Please click the Technology link on the left menu to learn more about taking classes at a distance.
