The Honors Cohort applies academic education through service-learning volunteer activities which are integrated into the core curriculum. Students are encouraged to develop their leadership and communication skills through these unique volunteer activities.

Junior Achievement of Central Ohio: Partnering Columbus Public schools, Honors Cohort students teach the fundamental principles of business and economics.

American Electric Power: AEP hosted the Honors Cohort students during the Annual Day of Caring Event. Students and AEP employees volunteered at a Columbus nursing home with members of Big Brothers/Big Sisters.

Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure Columbus: In support of breast cancer research, Honors Cohort students ran in the annual Race for the Cure in downtown Columbus

American Red Cross Blood Drive at Nationwide: While working closely with Nationwide’s management team, the honors cohort students applied their Marketing skills to successfully meet the challenge of increasing blood donor participation from employees at this large financial services firm.
